Seriously??

Really?  Really??  158 degrees?  Come on.  The hottest temperature EVER RECORDED ON EARTH was 70.7C in the Lut Desert in Iran in 2004.  Honestly.  Even the weather guys over here are sensationalist.  :)  Just goes to show that astronomers shouldn't pretend like they understand meteorology! 

PS If it does get that hot by any chance, I will let you know!
